Why girls?
Sexual abuse has become normalised in schools.
- 9 in 10 girls experience sexist name calling or being sent explicit photos UK
- In the last year, girls aged between 15 and 18 reported the highest rates of sexual abuse.
- A third of female students have experienced sexual harassment at school.

This website aims to amplify the wide range of poor experiences to help schools and policy makers understand the stories beyond the stats.
We want to help schools deal better with the consequences of sexism and to support them in tackling the root causes. Our aim is to make school a happier and healthier place for both girls and boys.
